Procrastination & Excuses will only lead to Preventable Medical Age Related Issues

You Really Must Not Matter.... Here's the deal, everyone can find an excuse for doing or not doing something in their lives. It's human nature to procrastinate on the things we don't want to do, or are told we should or have to do. I totally understand. BUT, the bare bones truth is, YOU CAN'T KEEP LYING TO YOURSELF. sooner or later it will catch up to you, and than you'll go into the self punishment mode which will only make things worst. STOP THE VICIOUS CYCLE AND TAKE STOCK OF YOUR LIFE NOW. You're probably wondering what the hell is she yakking about now??? I'm talking to you, YOU, the one that keeps putting off your well being for what you believe is beneficial for everyone else., your kids, your spouses, your frenz, your boss, work, the dog, cat, the charity work, whatever.... human nature is to find whatever excuse it is to not do what we know we should to make our lives better. There's many reasons for that, and I totally get it. But if you don't know where to start, what to do, or are afraid, hey, that's only natural too. Ask for help... life is about new experiences and learning. But here's the low down on that painful truth, if you keep saying you don't have time to get healthy, eat right because it's too expensive, the classes are at the wrong time, the gym is too busy, I don't like the people there, it's not my thing, a trainer is way too expensive for me to afford, or better yet my kids are more important and their games are at the same time, so I just can't do it....Well sister, think of this, DO YOU WANT TO BE AROUND TO SEE YOUR KIDS GROW UP, HAVE HAPPY LIVES, HAVE KIDS OF THEIR OWN??? DO YOU WANT TO LIVE INTO YOUR 90S, BEING INDEPENDENT AND DRIVING YOURSELF AROUND? DO YOU WANT TO STILL HAVE GOOD HEALTHY SEX YOUR LIFE? DO YOU WANT TO AGE GRACEFULLY WITH A HEALTHY GLOW???? Well than, you better get cracking.... time waits for NO ONE, keep using that excuse, and you're going to fine yourself running out of time. It's never too late, but, why start when something is broke, start now to prevent damage from even happening, and if it does, because life does what it does, you'll be better equip to handle it. ~ PK

Sprint Quarter Lift To Thrive Class Registration

Spring Quarter Class Registration for LIFT 2 THRIVE starts MARCH 17 at 7:00am, but just a little note, eager new members start lining up as early as 6:30am to get a spot. Open to all adults 55 and over, class fee is $10 for 10 classes, one every week. If you want to take my Tuesday & Thursday classes you have to register for both classes. February Whole Body Blast Class Schedule

WBB functional fitness classes are 45 minute of light resistance weight training, plyometric body weight exercises, utilizing standing, chair and mat platforms for a low to medium intensity styled whole body fitness experience. From start to finish we move through different methods of exercises that works our upper & lower body, stressing good form, proper breathing and hydration, as well as closing with simple cooling down stretching and centering techniques, leaving you completely happy mind, body and soul. Tip of the Day: Leg Day Saturday ~ Exercise & Nutrition is only 2 keys to a great BOOTY.... Being comfortable in your OWN SKIN, being the authentic you, and doing it your way is the #1 step to having a very banging healthy body. When we're happy about who we are, we can do anything. Our legs are the transporters of our lives, they move us to where ever we want and need to go. They represent our foundations, our pillars of power and strength. Not to mention for us women, they are the life giving structure that helps us be mothers. Strong legs, represent strong healthy foundation and life. When we can stand on our own 2 feet, and look at the world around us and not give a dam about what people think of us, and face the world with pure inner confidence we are being the AUTHENTIC WOMAN that we are meant to be. Our legs, move us, support us, and gives life to the world. So when you're working your legs, don't just go through the motions, think about the whole purpose on why you want to get stronger, fitter, beautiful legs. Think about where you'd be with out your legs. Think about how lucky you are to be able to do the things you do, like running, lifting, walking, swimming, standing, carrying your children, grandchildren, all kinds of things depends on you having those pillars of support. Don't ever take them for granted. What you do today to strengthen your body, especially your legs and back will ensure longevity and independence in your golden years. Tip of the Day: The Death Rate of a person who sits all day... I know you all don't want to talk about death, but when it comes to living a long healthy life, the ONE VERY IMPORTANT THING you can do RIGHT NOW is to make sure you're not cutting your life short by sitting on your ass too long. Here's a really informative short visual, that will give you the lowdown on the goods and bads, and how to get yourself started in living a longer healthier life. GET MOVING, IN THE MORNING, AT NOON, AND LATER IN THE EVENING. I suggest taking a half an hour brisk walk, at least twice a day. I MEAN BRISK, NOT A STROLL. I see so many people walking together, talking but, what they're not realizing you have to raise your heart rate to get the body really moving and the benefits of fresh clean circulation. If not, the body stays the same, like all exercising, increase movement, momentum, rate, challenges the body, to improve it's organs, bones, blood flow, muscle growth, and don't forget the BRAIN. The BRAIN, loves the challenge, get with the PROGRAM AND START MOVING, AND YOUR BRAIN WILL START TO REMEMBER MORE efficiently, your recall will be faster. You'll have a more positive outlook of life. Less depression, anxiety, more energy, and your happy hormones will start to perk up, making you feel more ALIVE.
